Most engagements follow a common rubric: wait until sunset, find a wide-open sunny rural landscape and shoot away with a warm white balance. This was no such shoot.

Alex and I had devised something almost completely opposite: a cloudy, moody atmosphere, dark elements of a haunted forest, and a cold white balance with a spooky Halloween emphasis. Oh, and don't forget a cameo with Samus the kitty cat.
